Built Environment – Smarter Transformation
Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST) is a not-for-profit organisation with the mission to accelerate the built environment’s just transition to zero carbon. They provide the connections, infrastructure and culture needed to solve the sector’s most pressing challenges.
In partnership with the Scottish Government and the Construction Leadership Forum, BE-ST wanted to develop an industry-facing dashboard, powered by live data, that can represent key metrics relevant to the construction industry in Scotland to help them make better, more informed decisions.
Thanks to Lumen®, BE-ST has developed a revolutionary data dashboard that holds a massive collection of statistical insights. This online tool brings together 12 data sources from seven organisations in multiple formats, allowing BE-ST to visualise improvement areas and provide actionable insights to drive sector transformation and positive change. As data structures evolve, Lumen® can detect these changes and will immediately self-update or alert a solutions engineer for intervention. Using Lumen®, BE-ST has effectively saved 2 full days (10%) of work per month, representing a substantial portion of an individual’s duties.
