Bellrock Technology sponsors Boroughmuir Youth Rugby Academy
Bellrock Technology provides financial backing for Boroughmuir Youth Rugby Academy during COVID-19 pandemic.
Business Analytics business, Bellrock Technology has committed its support for Boroughmuir Youth Rugby Academy to help the club continue to develop its hugely successful programme during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
The Bellrock Technology brand will be displayed on all academy players’ shirts in a deal extending over the next four years. The move is part of the Scottish business investing in the talent of Scotland, in this case focusing on supporting the next generation of Scottish rugby players to thrive in the sport they love.
The Boroughmuir Rugby Academy coaches and supports over 350 young people, aged from 5 to 18, every week. In addition to these 350 young players, the Academy actively supports over 1,000 young people across three high schools and 14 primary schools. The Academy really believes in making rugby inclusive to all, and to back this up they fund a player bursary programme to ensure cost is never a barrier to playing.
Bellrock Technology chief Adam Brown, an ex-front row player, said the company recognised the need to show faith and commit to backing the Rugby Academy as the COVID-19 crisis continues.
He said: “Boroughmuir’s ethos of developing the next generation through inclusive participation in sport coupled with a real focus on giving back to the local community is the reason that Bellrock Technology are proud to invest.”
Ally Hay, Boroughmuir Chair, said: “It is fantastic to get the support of Bellrock Technology. Their support will directly benefit all our young people and the wider community.
“This backing will help us move forward and ensure that the next generation of Scottish rugby players don’t miss out learning and thriving in the game they love.”
Bellrock Technology is an innovative software company and data analytics specialist. Its vision is to help every sector of industry and commerce use data to increase productivity and decrease costs. The company is named after the seemingly “impossible to build” Bell Rock Lighthouse, having initially been advised that its own ambitions were unrealistic. That challenge was accepted in typical front row fashion and, 10 years on, Bellrock Technology is going from strength to strength operating across the energy, healthcare, manufacturing and public sectors.
