Welcoming Novosound to Bellrock Technology

We’re delighted to welcome Novosound, a pioneering Scottish technology company that specialises in innovative ultrasound solutions as a new client of Bellrock Technology!
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Newhouse, Scotland, Novosound has developed a groundbreaking thin-film ultrasound sensor technology that disrupts traditional piezoelectric methods. The company’s solutions are tailored to address complex challenges across diverse sectors, including industrial, medical, aerospace, and energy industries.
Novosound’s core innovation lies in its flexible and scalable thin-film material, which offers unprecedented durability, performance, and versatility. This enables its sensors to operate in extreme environments, such as high temperatures or confined spaces, which were previously inaccessible using conventional ultrasound technology. The company’s mission is to revolutionise how ultrasound is used in critical applications, enabling safer, more efficient, and sustainable practices.
In 2017, Novosound won the prestigious Converge Challenge for its revolutionary printed ultrasound imaging technology, which enables high-resolution, low-cost imaging for a wide range of sectors, including medical and industrial markets.
It was at this Converge Challenge celebration that the two CEOs, Adam Brown from Bellrock Technology and Dave Hughes from Novosound, first met, marking the beginning of a strong and supportive relationship between their companies.
